Understood to have originally been constructed in late Victorian times as a pair of cottages to Starkers Farm (now Honeybridge Farm) which formed part of The Ashurst Estate (sold by HJ Burt at auction on 2nd July 1914 for the late Arthur Lloyd and including Peppers House & Ford Farm), the former cottages were adapted and joined into one family house in the late 1970's by previous owners (ref.
